L-Carnitine is an oligopeptide which is composed of two amino acids - lysine and methionine. It is an important material which can constitute human cells, it is also a material that is naturally existing in cells, it can promote growth of muscle, maintain muscle tissue and also be involved in the metabolic process of fat.

The main function is to transport fat into the cells for energy metabolism, promote fatty acid transport through the mitochondrial membrane and convert the fatty into energy, that is to promote the cells through oxidation of fatty acids in the body to produce energy. L-carnitine plays a pivotal role in the energy-production process of long-chain fatty acids’ oxidation which is existing in the myocardium and skeletal muscle.

Scope of application
